We are currently seeking to hire a Mobile Security guard. The Overnight Mobile Guard will be responsible for maintaining the safety and security of the client’s property, people, protecting company assets, and working in the best interests of the brand in compliance with the company policy and procedures. The Overnight Mobile Guard will act in a customer service and physical security focused role while also serving as a visible deterrent to unwanted behaviours and people. We are seeking confident experienced Part-time candidates who are skilled in conflict resolution and de-escalation techniques.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

As a Mobile Security Guard, you provide leadership in emergency situations. Supported by our 24/7 Operations Centre, you swiftly respond to alarms, report security breaches and property damage, and direct unauthorized individuals to leave the premises. Conducting full site patrols at each location designated to you helps to ensure safety and security for the client and its property.

Job Duties:

• Enforcing property regulations, Criminal Code and legislative statutes
• Obtaining statements and collecting information for Incident Reports.
• Provide both a security presence and a customer service-based demeanor.
• Deterrence of undesired behavior and/or criminal activity.
• Ability to liaise and communicate effectively with local law enforcement.
• Conduct routine patrols of premise for any safety and security issues.
• Report on suspicious activity and wildlife as it may occur.

YOU’RE A GREAT FIT IF YOU:

• Good command of the English Language (verbally/written) as you will be interacting directly with the client and the public and completing reports.
• Provide exceptional customer service.
• Duty belt and Tactical vest are requirements for these positions - will provide.
• Valid British Columbia Security License.
• Valid class 5 Drivers license with access to a vehicle.
• This position requires an extremely clean-cut, professional appearance and behavior.
• Have prior security experience, a valid security license, and are eager to learn more.

The guard will be responsible for maintaining the safety and security of the property, customers, workers, public and all assets, while working in the best interests of the brand. The guard will act in a customer service focused role while also serving as a visible deterrent to unwanted behaviors and people.

Responsibilities:

• Providing both a physical security presence and a customer service demeanour.

Required Skills and Abilities:

• Must possess valid BC Security License
• Possess a valid BC Drivers license (Considered an asset but is mandatory for mobile)
